[Element Technology Development]
Developing core technologies in areas such as hydraulics, electrical systems, power systems, and structural components based on market trends, customer needs, and development concepts communicated by the Marketing and Product Development departments. KOBELCO’s strengths in fuel efficiency and noise reduction technologies were also developed through this work.

[Model Development]
Working closely with the Marketing department to translate newly developed core technologies into finished products. Key responsibilities include determining product specifications to meet regional needs and managing development progress. This role also involves improving existing models based on feedback from the Sales, Service, and Manufacturing departments.
[Procurement & Supply Chain Management (SCM)]
Selecting component suppliers and negotiating delivery schedules to procure the 1,200–1,500 different types of parts required for each model, ensuring they meet the required quality, cost, and delivery standards. Working with partner companies in Japan and overseas to source the most suitable components from around the world, offering opportunities to work in a global environment.
[Production Management]
Developing production plans in response to changing conditions, including requests from the Sales department and the circumstances of partner companies. This role involves carefully calculating component delivery schedules, production efficiency, and product costs, then continuously adjusting plans to keep factory operations running smoothly.
[Quality Assurance]
Ensuring high quality by inspecting components delivered by partner companies and working with the Development and Manufacturing departments to review products and components from multiple perspectives. Quality management support is also provided to ensure that products manufactured around the world maintain consistent quality under the MADE BY KOBELCO standard.
[Production Technology]
Planning and improving manufacturing operations at factories around the world. Responsibilities include determining optimal equipment and factory layouts based on production plans, improving work processes, and contributing to new model development from a manufacturing perspective. This role may also involve planning and launching new factories, with the goal of continuously improving productivity.

Tokyo Headquarters: 9:00 - 17:35
Hiroshima Headquarters: 8:00 - 16:50
Okubo Office: 8:25 - 17:00
Ogaki Office: 8:00 - 16:50
* Some changes depending on the department
* Flextime system implemented (no core time)
🧳 Work Locations
Tokyo (Takanawa), Hiroshima (Itsukaichi), Hyogo (Okubo), Gifu (Ogaki), and other locations nationwide, as well as overseas locations
💰 Salary
Basic Salary
・April 2026 Starting Salary
・Doctorate: Monthly salary 342,000 yen
・Master's: Monthly salary 326,000 yen
・Bachelor's/Technical College Specialized Course Graduate: Monthly salary 306,000 yen
Allowances
・Overtime allowance, commuting allowance, position allowance, etc.
Salary Increase: Once a year (April)
Bonus: Twice a year (June, December)
