■ Job Description
After joining the company, you will be assigned to a store. You will gain experience in store merchandising, product management, staff training, and sales planning, and eventually take on the role of Store Manager, responsible for managing an entire store.
Our stores handle a wide range of product categories, including books, apparel, electronics, sports goods, and hobby items.
■ Supervisor (Sales Floor Professional)
Supervisors manage the sales floor for specific product categories and help develop staff members. This role allows you to deepen your expertise in your assigned merchandise category.
・Examples of product categories:
Books / Apparel / Electronics / Sports Equipment / Hobby Goods / Trading Cards / Branded Items
You will manage your own sales area and continue building expertise in that category.
An exciting part of the role is thinking about which products will sell best and how to present them effectively.
■ Store Manager (Store Management Position)
In the future, you may become the manager of an entire store.
Working with supervisors and area managers, you will oversee staff scheduling, inventory control, and sales analysis, while leading part-time staff to build a successful store.
A Store Manager is often described as the CEO of a small company, managing people, products, and finances.
■ Career Path
After becoming a Store Manager, several career paths are available:
・Managing different types of stores, including large stores or stores in different locations
・Becoming an Area Manager overseeing multiple stores
・Moving to head office roles such as planning, product development, or business management
・Becoming a merchandise specialist in a specific product category
