Note: The internship will be held in Osaka on two dates.
This program is designed so that you can understand the big picture, including Sumitomo Forestry's philosophy and businesses, as well as the duties of the Business Planning position.

<What is the Business Planning Position?>
This is a role that spans across various Sumitomo Forestry businesses, including the lumber and building materials business (trading), resources and environment business, housing business, overseas housing business, real estate business, and life services business.
The duties are broad, including business planning, trading company sales, and performance management.
Through hands-on work, you identify and solve internal and societal challenges and create new value, which is the role of the Business Planning position.
We aim to realize a sustainable society by leveraging renewable wood in our businesses!

â Day 2: New business ideation workshop and a discussion with employees
The work of Sumitomo Forestry's Business Planning position is to:
- Identify and solve social and internal issues through hands-on work, and create new value
- Contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society through the power of wood
- Consider how to actually achieve 'decarbonization' and how Sumitomo Forestry can shape it
You will participate in a workshop that encourages you to think about how to turn these points into a concrete plan for Sumitomo Forestry!
